King Travel was established in 1994 in the beautiful city of San Francisco. The founder of the company, Ilya Gelman, wanted to organize royal trips with affordable prices. That's how the name "King Travel" was invented... trips for the "kings".

From its early days, King Travel has been offering bus and airline tours. In 1996, the company's concentration shifted towards organization of bus trips mainly for Russian speaking community.
